Answers With Explanation
1. 5C3×15C3= 4,550

2. X+x+12=100%;
X= 44%
X+12=56%
Party R ( got 44% vote)= 132000
Therefore 1% = 132000/44=3000
100%= 300000;
Party d= 56* 300000/100=168000
Difference= 168000-132000=36000

3.20% of the men are above the age of 50 years. 20% of these men play football. Therefore, 20% of 20% or 4% of the total men are football players above the age of 50 years. 20% of the men are football players. Therefore, 16% of the men are football players below the age of 50 years.
Therefore,the % of men who are football players and below the age of 50= 16/20* 100=80%

4. 20+15 = 35 %

Remaining 65%

40+ 30=70
so 70% of 65 = 45.50
35%+45.50 = 80.50%
so left vth 19.50% = 8775
100% = 45000

5.Let the solution of both the test tube be X gm
According to the question we will get equation as follows
(x-20)+(x+20)*2/3 = 4*(X+20)*1/3
X= 100 gm.

 6. 10th class boys : girls = 62 : 38
12th class boys : girls = 75 : 25
10th student : 12th student = 4 : 3
Therefore 400:300
Girls in 10th = 400*38/100
Boys in 12th = 300*75/100
Hence 152 : 225

7. 5x + 9x + 4x = 72 x 3
= 18x = 72 x 3; x= 12
= 5x + 9x/2 = 7x
= 7 x 12 = 84 kmph

8. By allegation method
5.75…………..4.50
           5.50
100……………25
Therefore 25x=75; x=3
Hence 100x=300

9. 5%= 14
100%= 280
280*140/100*80/100= 313 appx
313-280=33

10. Ratio= 11: 16.5: 8.25
(19.5*8.25)/(35.75*2) = 2.25 lakhs
